Expert advice on caring for your English Roses
When is the best time to plant bare root roses?
Bare root roses should be planted while they are dormant, typically between late autumn and early spring (November to March), provided the ground is not frozen.
What is the David Austin 5-year guarantee?
We take pride in the health and vigor of our roses. Every rose bush is guaranteed to grow for five years from the date of purchase, provided it is planted and cared for according to our guidelines.
How do I track my delivery?
Once your order has been dispatched from our nursery, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking link to monitor your shipment's progress.
Can I grow David Austin roses in pots or containers?
Yes, many of our varieties are well-suited for containers. We recommend choosing a large pot (at least 15 inches deep) and using a high-quality loam-based compost.
How should I prune my roses?
Pruning is best done in late winter or early spring as new growth begins. We recommend reducing the height of the shrub by one-third to one-half to encourage strong stems and plentiful blooms.
What happens if my plant arrives damaged?
